HCB Griddle – 70S – smooth/ribbed – 13 kW – 80 cm – natural gas – stainless steel

This professional stainless steel gas griddle from HCB combines a smooth and ribbed cooking surface in a single versatile griddle. With a width of 80 cm, the griddle offers ample space to cook various items at the same time. This model is suitable for restaurants, snack bars, lunchrooms, hotels, catering companies, and other professional foodservice kitchens.

The baking sheet features a combination cooking surface: one half is smooth and the other half is ribbed. The smooth section is ideal for cooking eggs, fish, vegetables, pancakes, and other foods that require an even cooking surface. The ribbed section is suitable for meat, hamburgers, chicken, and other grilled foods. The ridges create distinctive grill marks, while fat and cooking juices can drain away between the ridges.

Thanks to the two separately adjustable heating zones, you can set each half independently of the other. Each zone is heated by a powerful 6.5 kW gas burner. Together, the burners deliver a total output of 13 kW. This allows you to prepare different items at the same time at the appropriate temperature. The temperature range of 80 °C to 300 °C also offers flexibility for both gentle cooking and high-heat baking.

The gas griddle heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly across the cooking surface. The piezoelectric ignition makes it easy to start. A raised splash guard is installed on the back and sides, which helps protect the surrounding area from grease splatters. A grease drain and removable grease tray make it easier to remove cooking juices and clean the grill.

The freestanding model features a base without a door and is made entirely of stainless steel. The height-adjustable legs allow the working height to be adjusted to match other equipment. This makes this gas griddle compatible with a professional HCB 700 cooking line. The griddle is designed for natural gas as standard; nozzles for conversion to propane are included.
